Would any Democrats and Republicans seriously consider electing a real Independent outsider for 2012?

People are starting to lean toward Independents and perhaps even the Tea Party as a way to get out of the same rut of good cop bad cop corruption that has plague politics for far too long. I know of several Republicans who voted for Democrats this election only to be let down by the same neocon underpinnings and institutional power structures to the point of nausea
