How happy would non Old Firm fans be if they left the Scottish League?

Some believe teams will struggle to survive but taking Hibs as an example we averaged around 13000 when we won the First Division. Success leads to increased crowds therefore a competitive League would surely bring a lot of disillusioned fans back if they thought they had a chance of winning a trophy?
