I found a Stradivarius violin a few months ago and now I am struggling to decide what to do, suggestions?

I don't want to give many details but I was staying in an upscale hotel on business and there was some sort of black tie charity gala of some sort going on and there was live clical music. I didn't attend, I just noticed it when I was in one of the hotel bars. Anyway it was late and on the way to my room I walked into the hall (it was then empty) just to look around and I saw a violin case sitting by where the orchestra had been seated. I picked it up and sure enough there was a violin in it. For some reason (I blame it on being pretty smashed) I didn't just turn it in I took it to my room. The next day I just said the hell with it and took it when I checked out...still not sure why I did that...guess I figured I could always turn it in later or contact the hotel, etc. Anyway to make a long story a little shorter I have a friend in an alt/jazz band (he's the lead guitar player) who actually makes violins. Obviously he is very much an expert...so I showed it to him and he almost had a damn heart attack....when he could talk he told me it was a strad and I told him the story....he said it could be worth like a million dollars maybe more depending on what is found when it is examined by a real expert....what should I do...now I am kind of scared sh1tless....but million(s)??
