Ford fiesta finesse 1.3 2003engine warning light keeps blinking (orange) ?

the car seems to struggle a bit on acceleration, this has only just happened, could it possibly be that the throttle cable needs some adjustment (as it reads around 650-800 rpm) or dirty spark plugs? or something else?????
